School asks graffiti artists to paint it before renovation

School graffiti

We have to admit most schools looks pretty bland. Most of them are teeming with safe homogeneous colors and uninspired designs. However, one hundred graffiti artists have just turned the boring walls of a dormitory in Paris into a stunning celebration of art and creativity.

The graffiti team spent three weeks painting the interior of a student residence at the Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris. The artists were invited as part of Rehab 2. In case you’re wondering, this is an urban festival that ran from 16 June to 16 July. Happily enough, the artists were given free reign to let their imaginations run wild before the space was opened to the general public.

Sadly, this splendid exhibition will only be on display for a limited period. And that’s because this contemporary art will soon be erased during an official renovation of the dormitory. Fortunately, photographers have documented the project and as such, these incredible efforts will live on. Pretty cool don’t you think?

So, here’s how a graffiti art school looks like!
