- 1 lb skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 white onion, sliced
- 3 – 4 tablespoons cornstarch
1 Mix brown sugar, water, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and sliced onion in a small bowl.
2 Mix cornstarch with just enough water to form a paste and add it to the sauce mixture, mixing well.
3 Place cubed chicken in the slow cooker and pour sauce mixture over chicken.
4 Cook in the slow cooker on low for 3-4 hours or until done.
5 Serve over cooked rice.
